Would You Buy A Bungie Game On PS3?

As rumored by Hip Hop Gamer, Bungie’s first PS3 game could be set to released sometime next year. Bungie created the critically acclaimed Halo series for those who didn’t know. Halo rapidly evolved into a household name, as it was the featured exclusive for the original Xbox. Their projects have stolen the hearts of many gamers around the world. The exclusive developer isn’t owned by Microsoft, but they have delivered 5 games exclusively on Xbox and PCs. According to the rumor, this exclusivity may soon be changing, and If we consider the possibilities, we can rule Halo out of the context. This new Bungie title couldn't be a Halo game due to Microsofts rights to the Halo name.

If this project were to come to reality, would Halo fans embrace the game if it were a PS3 exclusive? Personally, I feel most hardcore Halo fans will at least try the new game, but mainstream gamers won't give it a chance. The Halo series is a top selling franchise that is supported by all demographics. This new game will be supported but I sure hope the expectations are lower then they would be if this game were to be 360 exclusive.

They need to bring something fresh to the console...basically they need to step out of the shadows of halo and making something awe inspiring.
