Playstation 3 & PSN Turn 3 Today
Today marks the three year anniversary of the release of Playstation 3. After receiving a slew of constructive criticism, Sony stands tall, with PS3 having its best year by far in gaming. Vast improvements in the variety and quality of games featured exclusively on Sony's lead platform, is propelling the console with tremendous momentum. The Playstation Network is not lackluster any means. Great PSN exclusives and featured improvements have been taking effect all year. Recently announced firmware 3.10 includes PSN integration with Facebook and Twitter, for those who didn't know these social networks were available before the 3.10 update. The only difference is that you can now link your Facebook or Twitter accounts to your PSN account, pending on your preferences. These status updates can be seen when you unlock trophies, download content from the Playstation Network, and achieve milestones in game.
Sony has made all the right moves for this holiday season including, cutting the price of the standard PS3 SKU, and releasing quality games that showcase the power of the very expensive cell processor. The 2009 holiday rush begins soon, let the competition begin.

Comment by Antonio on November 17, 2009 at 10:27am - lol...that is true with times hard...some of us might wait to some of these games are affordable and slashed in half at Gamestop. I been putting away for certain games...like God of War 3, Brink, Bad Company 2 and GT5. Heavy Rain looks like a must get...something different. Congrats PS3...I been with you for 1 1/2 of those 3yrs.

However next year is shaping up to be even more successful with Heavy Rain, God Of War 3, Gran Turismo 5, White Knight Chronicles, MAG, The Agent, The Last Guardian and more.........it's a good time to be a PS3 owner but a bad time to be strapped for cash. :P
