I agree with Aaron above that it's hard to compare the two games. But if I have to pick it would be Tekken, all day.

Tekken all the way. To me, there is so much more you can do with tekken; there are more ways you can dodge an attack and so many more ways that you can counter it. For example, when an enemy comes at you with a trip, you can jump, side step, low perry, or do a block. All of these are completely different moves, which gives you different advantages.

Additionally, the grabs and counter moves to tekken are freakin awesome. Some of the grabs/counters are so awesome, it seems like they were ripped out of a Matrix movie. Have you seen Hworang's side grab where he kicks the guy in the waist and then makes them eat his feet. Freakin awesome.

A lot of people hate on Tekken because they claim that you can beat anybody by button mashing, when in truth you could only beat noobs. These people pick eddie all the way and claim that you don't need any skills, but in truth it takes lots of skill to master tekken.

I'm not saying that street fighter is crap or anything. It does take a lot of skill too, but I really prefer tekken because I feel like there are so much more ways that you could handle a situation.

Tekken is a HOBBY!
Street fighter is a way of life....

Not sure how i feel specifically about the games but i love the Tekken series more. It has a more rhythmic feel to the fighting since its based on actual martial arts.

I disagree with that. Street Fighter 4 better to me. Tekken 6 was not enjoy to me because I through the juggling combos are BS to me because you can't counter them and can't compare to the legacy of Tekken 3. If Namco does to do a Tekken 3 hd remix then I would get back into Tekken in a hurry because Tekken 3 was the best one in the series.

I'm going off topic on this but have you noticed the fighting scene has come back because street fighter. After 20 years street fighter is still on top.
